Honors-Orientation Information

Initial advising for Honors students is held via Honors Welcome Sessions. Incoming Honors students should register for one of these required meetings via their acceptance letter to the Honors College. For any general questions, contact your Honors Advisor.

In addition to KSU New Student Orientation, incoming Honors students must attend an Honors Welcome Session. You can register for one of these events through the link in your acceptance letter. 

When you register for your classes, please leave space for the required 1-credit hour HON 1100 class. If you have already attended your Welcome Session, you can register for HON 1100 during orientation, as well as Honors sections of general education classes. If you have not yet attended a Welcome Session, you will need to register for HON 1100 later.
